Part time Legal Assistance
Hey all you people stopping by to check out my blog spot, legalhelplady.blogspot.com--a BIG thank you. First, let me state that I AM NOT AN ATTORNEY. Phew, glad we got that out of the way.
My business is to help and support you, the attorney, in the legal profession in whatever capacity you need on a part time basis. This is on a 1099 basis. My rates are very reasonable and only require a 4 hour minimum. You need the help but you don't need someone 'round your office full time--that's when I can help you out effectively. My phone skills are excellent. I can do intakes when you client is unable to get to your office because of their injury. I am a reliable, thorough, courteous professional and work well with all types of people. I have passed multiple FBI background checks. Being in my 50s and being born in the United Kingdom (I am a US citizen), I have a worth of life experience, confidence and show respect for people of all walks of life.
What's my background, you might ask. I have a BA from Clemson, worked in technical sales for 15 years, am a fully licensed Florida secondary teacher and hold a Florida 215 Insurance license.
Some suggestions on how you might use my services...
---calling your clients to touch base and update their files-email, address, cell phone
---attending networking meetings on your behalf to increase your case load via contacts
---doing intakes around the Tampa Bay area after hours when your client cannot come into your office
---attend fundraising/social functions on your behalf to further extend your community reach
---remember, I have excellent people and phone skills so this is where you want to use my services
---flexible schedule: four hour stints work best--mornings, afternoons, Saturdays, after hours
---can work for you on short notice (at this point!)
