My son won first place in the 18 hole Special Olympics golf tournament held at Legends Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL this past Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010. He shot around 100 in 32 holes. At the county tourney, which he won, he shot an 83 at Mangrove Bay in St. Petersburg, FL. Thank you Special Olympics for supporting our very special children. Also thanks to the golf clubs who kindly gave up their courses to us for these tournaments. Also the many sponsors as in helping these kids we all win. Many many thanks from all the parents struggling to raise them up to be good citizens in our communities who traveled from all over the state of Florida to participate. Despite budget cuts, we had a fantastic tournament experience.
